SWAE McLaren 720S Widebody is Packed with Carbon Fiber and Power

A new company has stepped onto the market tuning and customizing high-end exotic cars from McLaren. SWAE has created a new car known as the SWAE McLaren 720S Widebody. The big claim to fame is the 3D-printed twill carbon fiber body kit that widens the car.

We particularly love it when a body kit is designed well enough that it looks like it could be stock, and SWAE has done just that. It’s hard to look at its Widebody without having a stock McLaren right next to it to see the subtle differences. Other than the body changes, SWAE also fits the car with custom 10-spoke wheels.

The 720S Widebody also has received a significant power bump for its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. The company claims its tuning pushes the car to 900 horsepower at the rear wheels, meaning roughly 1000 horsepower at the crank. That level of power should significantly increase performance over the car’s factory 710 hp output. This much awesome doesn’t come without a price – the car is estimated to have a price tag somewhere around $500,000.
