Jeep Gladiator Top Dog Concept Takes Mountain Bikers Anywhere

Jeep has unveiled a new concept vehicle called the Gladiator Top Dog. It’s a custom off-road truck that was designed specifically with mountain biking enthusiasts in mind. It packs massive amounts of storage and creature comforts to make a day out on the trails more fun. The concept is painted in a custom color called K-9 Blue and ditches the traditional Gladiator truck bed for a PCOR flatbed storage system from Exploration Outfitters.

On the passenger side of the storage system are pullout drawers for tool and supply storage. The inside of the bed also has lots of storage shelves and power supplies all within easy reach. The driver’s side has a battery-powered refrigerator and an electric hot dog roller grill stand for making food while out on the trail.

On top of the rear storage area is a dual bike rack providing a safe way to transport bikes to the trails. A pair of rack structures are mounted above the cab area as well, offering additional storage for tools and equipment. The custom Gladiator has also been fitted with Jeep Performance Parts two-inch lift kit with FOX shocks and 17-inch JPP beadlock-capable wheels.

Those wheels have 37-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, and the truck has hightop fender flares for additional clearance at all four corners. Power comes from Jeep’s standard 3.6-liter V6. Jeep also outfitted the Top Dog with a Rubicon bumper, JPP 8000 pound capacity Rubicon Warn winch, rock sliders, dual exterior lights mounted on each side, and a set of traction mats for vehicle recovery.
