Jumping Colin’s Crest at Rally Sweden 2014

Written by Kenny Hoeschen | February 11, 2014

Colin’s Crest is a famous rally jump along the snowy course of Rally Sweden that was named to honor the great rally driver, Colin McRae. Each year, a prize is awarded for the longest jump over the crest during the first run of the course. The video above from the Colin’s Crest Facebook page shows the top 10 jumps from the 2014 Rally Sweden.

It turns out Sebastien Ogier jumped farther than any of the 10 jumps above — 41 meters — in a later stage of the race, setting the record for the longest jump at Colin’s Crest (check out the jump below). Unfortunately, he waited too late in the event and his jump wasn’t part of the awards portion.
