Topless on Ice: Bentley Continental Convertible

Bentley has done a great job producing vehicles that can not only offer luxury and performance, they also can handle winter driving conditions. In this clip from The Fast Lane Car, they took the powerful Continental GT Speed Convertible into the frozen Colorado Rockies to see how it handles on a sheet of ice.

A $272,000 luxury convertible with a 616 horsepower W12 engine probably wouldn’t be our first choice for ice driving, but fitted with snow tires, the all-wheel drive Bentley generally manages to keep its composure. That said, you won’t be going more than about 10 mph with the traction control system enabled. We’re betting that if he had studs on the tires, he could have smoked the other drivers.
