Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection

Rolls-Royce honors the waterspeed records of Sir Malcolm Campbell and the Bluebird with the new Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection. With a forward-thinking approach that reflects the mindset of Campbell and his pursuit of those records, the Waterspeed Collection also uses the most modern materials available. The brushed steel of the hood is carried through to the flanks of the car as an homage to Campbell’s use of steel in his craft. The exterior paint is inspired by Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy where Campbell set his first record. That Maggiore Blue is also found on the V12 6.75-liter engine and the eleven-spoke polished alloy wheels.

The interior is finished in Windchill Grey interior leather with Maggiore Blue accents on the dashboard along with Rolls-Royce’s first use of Abachi wood. The finshes extend to the application of hand-engraved door armrest tunnel caps featuring a new interpretation of Campbell’s famous Bluebird motif.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection is limited to 35 units, each carrying a starting price of 435,000 GBP (~$733,000 USD).
