Project Titan: a 1,200 Mile Journey Across Alaska

Written by Kenny Hoeschen | November 12, 2014

Nissan recently asked the public to help design the awesome Project Titan truck. Based on the 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X pickup, the truck build was completed, and two war veterans were challenged to participate in a mission of veteran brotherhood on a 1,200 mile journey through Alaska. Through a series of missions, veterans and alumni from the Wounded Warrior Project, David Guzman and Kevin McMahon, traverse all sorts of terrain to meet other veterans across the state and share their stories.

In this short film, Nissan follows along with these amazing veterans and their incredible two-week journey in the Nissan Titan and the American wilderness. Hear their stories of what they saw in combat and how it affected their lives. They also meet people along the way, like photographer Cory Richards, who they help reach the tip of a calving glacier. The result is an emotional film that’s perfect to honor Veterans Day.
