Dodge Viper: DNA of a Supercar

The Dodge Viper has long been one of the most sought-after American sports cars. Powered by a massive 8.4-liter, 645 horsepower V10 engine accompanied by thrilling, if not a little intimidating ride dynamics, the Viper is a very special car for a very special kind of driver. In this 22-minute-long film, Dodge takes us behind the scenes of the design, engineering and craftsmanship that goes into making today’s fifth-generation Viper.

While the film is a bit pretentious and flashy for my tastes, and reads much more like a long commercial than a documentary, it’s still great to see what goes into this impressive sports car, and it’s always fun to see the Viper in action. Watching them sculpt and lay in the car’s carbon fiber components is particularly enrapturing.
