2015 Shelby GT

The latest iteration of the vaunted Shelby GT package for the Ford Mustang has been announced. Starting out with a 2015 Ford Mustang GT, the kit adds both performance and aesthetic upgrades to the popular pony car.

Featuring Ford Racing components, including a supercharger, upgraded shocks, springs and sway bars, the Shelby GT packs at least 627 horsepower, and can be upgraded to over 700 horses.  Stopping power has been augmented with Wilwood 6-piston front brakes. A Borla exhaust system is finished with Shelby’s trademark oval tips, and the car rides on 20″ WELD Racing wheels wrapped in Michelin sport tires.

Visual and weight improvements include numerous carbon fiber components, including a lightweight hood, front splitter, rocker panels, rear diffuser, deck lid, trunk spoiler, mirror covers and a hood extension. A modular billet aluminum front grille and ample Shelby badging round out the exterior. Inside, there aren’t as many mods, but you’ll get a carbon fiber dash pod with analog gauges, Shelby headrests, sill plates and floor mats.
