2016 BMW M3 Gets Tweaks
I like the BMW M3 and if you are a fan of the car, you may be glad to hear that it has received some visual updates for 2016. There are slight tweaks to its headlamps and taillamps, as well as its air intakes. Otherwise, it’s largely unchanged from the current model.
The engine remains the same as the 2015 model. Granted, the M3 is no slouch when it comes to performance. I have a friend that owns a newer V8 M3 and it’s a fun car to drive, even if it feels weak down low and really doesn’t start moving until it’s higher in the RPM range.
The new M3 may be a different story though, my friend’s car is a V8 model, and the 2016 keeps the 425hp s55 turbo-6 that the car used last year. The turbos help with torque and the car produces 406 lb-ft from idle up to 5500 RPM. That sounds like it would help greatly with the soft low end that V8 car has.
