See The Foam Model of the New Ford GT Get Sculpted

There are many models made along the way as new cars come together. There are clay models, full scale prototypes, and foam sculpts among others. Here, we get a time-lapse look at the foam model being sculpted for the sexy beast that is the 2016 (or is it 2017?) Ford GT.

As is clear in the video, this foam model was made using a giant CNC mill, and not sculpted by hand. Given the fact that these are machine-made, and probably weigh next to nothing,  I’d love it if Ford would start selling these life-size foam models to fans. I’d love to have one – though I’m not sure where I’d park it.
