Toyota GT86 Club Series Orange Edition Lands in UK

Over in the UK, sports car fans often get lots of cool rides we never see here in the US. Toyota has announced that it has launched a new limited-edition Club Series for the GT86 sports car. The first Club Series car for the European market will be the GT86 Orange Edition.

Naturally, the Orange Edition gets Solar Orange paint on its body. In addition its rear spoiler tips and door mirror housings get metallic black finish. Other than the special colors, it gets black leather and Alcantara with contrasting orange stitching along with black suede and orange stitching in other places. The car rides on 17″ anthracite alloy wheels.

Sadly, there are no mechanical upgrades, which is something 86 and BRZ drivers have been clamoring for since day one.

The car will sell for £28,800 (~$37,327 USD) with a six-speed manual transmission, £30,270 (~$39,233) with a six-speed automatic gearbox. It’s amazing how much more expensive these cars are in the UK than here in the states, where the similarly-equipped Toyota 860 Special Edition can be had for about $29,000.
