Ferrari May be Working on a SUV

After the angst-filled cries that went around the globe when Ferrari started making a four-seater car with the FF and the GTC4Lusso, I can only imagine that it will be worse if and when the Ferrari SUV (er, FUV – Ferrari Utility Vehicle) comes to be.

I guess the idea is to make it look sportier. Ferrari continues to state that there are no plans for a four-door model, sedan or other wise. It looks like the way the exotic maker will make good on that promise even if they are making an SUV. According to AutoCar, Ferrari is working on some kind of hidden rear door design so it won’t look like a four-door.

With more and more people moving away from cars to SUVs and Ferrari’s sports and luxury rivals making SUVs, a Ferrari branded SUV seems inevitable. Porsche, Maserati, Bentley, Jaguar, and even Lamborghini have already gotten in on the SUV action, so it’s only a matter of time.
