Subaru Ascent 3-Row SUV to Get Official at LA Auto Show

Back in April, we talked a bit about the Subaru Ascent 3-row SUV Concept. The vehicle is to be the largest Subaru ever sold in the US with 3-rows of seating. Subaru says that the SUV will be family friendly and capable.

The Japanese automaker has announced that the official unveiling of the SUV will happen at the LA Auto Show on November 28. At that time, we will see the official design of the production version of the Ascent.

We expect the model you can buy to look much like the concept from April on the outside. The only thing about that concept that seemed a bit farfetched was the interior, which seemed very upscale for a Subaru. I’d expect a more utilitarian and typical Subaru interior. Rumors suggest a $35,000 starting price and a standard AWD drivetrain, but we’ll have to wait a couple of weeks for full details.
