2019 Hyundai Veloster N Price and Release Date Announced
The automotive world desperately needs more affordable performance cars. As the cost of performance cars goes up with each generation, it’s harder and harder for enthusiasts to afford fun cars for hooning about in. Well, good news everyone! Hyundai has announced that starting in December the slick Veloster N will land at dealers, and it will start at under $30,000.
The kitted-out hatch will sell for $29,885 including the destination fee. It packs a zesty 275 hp turbo four under the hood, that makes a healthy 260 lb-ft of torque to boot. To make this little hot hatch even hotter, it will only be offered with a manual transmission. An N “corner carving” electronic limited-slip differential is fitted to give better handling.
It also features a variable exhaust valve system for a sexy exhaust note, and it’s stopped by 13.6-inch front brake rotors and 12.4-inch units out back. The car rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels and 235/35R19 Pirelli P Zero summer tires.
Kudos to Hyundai for giving hot hatch enthusiasts another affordable choice in a time when it’s harder and harder for buyers looking for an entry-level performance car.
