2020 Ford Mustang GT500 Exhaust Modes Sound Off

The 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 looks awesome on paper, we all know it. A supercharged V8 with over 700 hp and quick-shifting flappy paddle gearbox? Yes, please. All we really want to know is when we can get it, how much it will cost, and how deep will dealers stick buyers with the “market adjustment” shank.

The gang over at Road & Track recent got to sample the GT500’s four exhaust modes. The tricked out Mustang sounds good, especially sitting on a city street with tall buildings all around.

Quiet mode is “quiet-ish” and will be useful for not making your neighbors hate you. Normal is normal, Sport has some grunt, and then track mode is downright raucous. Sadly the video is only on Road & Track, and we can’t embed it here, but go over and take a listen. It’s worth the click.
