Watch a McLaren Senna Do Donuts and Burnouts

The McLaren Senna is one of today’s ultimate supercars. Not only does it pack a mid-mounted 789 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine, but it’s got the kind of aerodynamic elements normally reserved for track-only race cars.

It’s also about a million bucks, and the kind of car you expect to see either meandering slowly down the streets of Monaco by some billionaire, or perhaps taking a few hot laps around the Nürburgring. It’s not the kind of car you’d think would be used to do donuts or burn rubber. Perhaps that’s why I find this video from exotic car enthusiast cvdzijden to be so entertaining.

While at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed, he caught McLaren pushing the envelope with the Senna, not just zooming up the famed hill climb at an impressive clip, but leaving behind a trail of smoke and burnt rubber in one of the staging areas. Along the way, you’ll also catch a couple of other McLarens, but none of them look nearly as bonkers as the Senna as it makes its way around the circuit and bellows smoke from its rear tires.
