Porsche Celebrates 25 Years of the Boxster with Limited-edition Boxster 25 Years

It’s hard to believe that the Porsche Boxster has been on the market for 25 years now. Porsche celebrating the milestone with a limited-edition version of the Boxster called the Boxster 25 Years.

The Boxster 25 is based on the 2021 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 model. It has a 394 horsepower naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine that can push the car to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual. Those preferring the flappy paddle can opt for the Porsche seven-speed PDK.

Porsche will offer the car in GT Silver Metallic, jet Black Metallic, and Carrera White Metallic. All colors feature copper-like Neodyme color accents meant to be reminiscent of the Boxster concept car from 1993. Buyers can choose Bordeaux Red interior and top or black interior and top. The top is embossed with the Boxster 25 lettering.

The Sport Chrono package is standard on the special edition as is a heated GT multifunction sport leather steering wheel. Other standard features include the Porsche Active Suspension Management system and Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The car can be ordered now, with deliveries beginning in the US this spring at a starting MSRP of $98,600 plus a $1,350 destination charge.
