2021 Ford F-150 Police Responder Makes The Man Faster on All Terrain

Ford has announced the launch of its 2021 F-150 Police Responder. The vehicle has an improved top speed and added capability compared to the models that came before it. Ford has increased the truck’s top speed to 120 mph and added an automatic four-wheel-drive mode along with a torque-on-demand transfer case. Those new features and meant to make the truck handle better and be more capable on all surfaces.

Ford also offers an available Police Engine Idle system that allows the officer to remove the key and securely exit the running vehicle while leaving the lights and sirens powered up. Ford has also equipped the Police Responder with standard Sync 4 with wireless software updates and available Ford Telematics to reduce vehicle downtime and unscheduled maintenance.

The truck is built on the 2021 F-150 SuperCrew platform and is designed to meet a wide range of agency needs. Power comes from a standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that makes 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The police truck also gets a standard FX4 off-road package for off-road capability. Order banks for the 2021 Police Responder are open now.
