New 2022 Infiniti QX60 Breaks Cover with 3-Row Grand Luxury

Ten years in the making, the new 2022 Infiniti QX60 is a nose-to-tail reimagining of the brand’s bestselling three-row SUV. The origami-inspired mesh grill and “digital piano key” lighting signatures highlight the sleek exterior. The top-end Autograph package features quilted semi-aniline leather (take that, Bentley), open-pore wood trim, Bose speakers, and Infiniti’s first color-contrast roof.

Powered by a 295 horsepower 3.5-liter V6, the QX60 has a new nine-speed automatic transmission and optional Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The ProPILOT Assist with Navi Link system can proactively slow the car for sharp bends or off-ramps and can automatically adjust the QX60’s speed when engaged. In stop-and-go traffic, the system can slow the QX60 to a stop and restart travel after up to 30 seconds when stationary.

All QX60s feature a new Infiniti InTouch 12.3-inch Interactive Display touchscreen for infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto compatibility software. An optional Infiniti 12.3” Dynamic Meter Display in front of the driver renders crisp information such as speed, navigation information and more, and can be paired with a sharp 10.8” head-up display.

Intuitive technology makes it the brand’s most family-friendly SUV yet, with more room for up to seven passengers, hands-free tailgate opening, and ingenious one-button second-row seats that slide and tilt for easy access to the third row without removing a child safety seat.

Judging from its sneak peek in Palos Verdes, California this week, the 2022 QX60 is a good looker, modern and refined, with smart updates and design. Watch this space for more details on performance and handling when we get behind the wheel later before it goes on sale this fall to see what it can do when not standing still just looking pretty.
