2023 Subaru Legacy Gets a New Sport Trim

Subaru pulled the wraps off of its refreshed 2023 Legacy sedan. As before, it features a Boxer engine and all-wheel drive. The updated vehicle gets a new front fascia with a more prominent grille and new LED headlights. Subaru has also introduced a new Sport trim for 2023.

Both the Sport and the top-end Touring XT utilize a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine producing 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft. of torque. All other models get a 2.5-liter engine with 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft. of torque. No matter which trim you get, power gets to the wheels via a CVT.

The 2023 Legacy will come in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring XT trims. Some of the key differences for the Sport trim include a red accent on the front grill, magnetite gray metallic side mirrors, and a trunk spoiler. The Legacy Sport rolls on 18-inch wheels painted gray and gets an exclusive black and gray two-tone cloth interior with contrasting red stitching.

The 2023 Legacy also gets an updated infotainment system with an available 11.6-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
