Each year, Jeep shows up at the Easter Jeep Safari with some special concept vehicles. Two of this year’s unique off-roaders are Wrangler derivatives, and one is a Gladiator, but the last is a rugged take on the luxurious Grand Wagoneer. Decked out in Spearmint green paint with woodgrain stripes, a white roof, and white badging, the Jeep Vacationeer Concept pays tribute to the classic Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models from the mid-20th century.
This particular SUV has been lifted 1.5 inches over the standard 2024 Grand Wagoneer and rides on 18-inch Method bead grip wheels painted in white. Those are wrapped in chunky 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. Other upgrades include a front-mounted WARN winch, and TYRI LED lighting. It also has front and rear skid plates to help protect the SUV’s underbody on rough trails.
The Vacationeer’s most notable feature is its Skyloft Rooftop Camper by Redtail Overland. This carbon fiber unit pops open at an angle to provide sleeping space for two people and views of the surroundings through its pop-up windows. The top of the Skyloft has been fitted with solar panels for on-the-go power generation.
The Vacationeer’s interior has seen its stock Tupelo leather seats partially reupholstered with a colorful red, yellow, and green check pattern embellished with tiny images of classic Jeep off-roaders. Jeep removed the second- and third-row seats to provide easy access to the Skyloft from inside the vehicle, and it outfitted its floor with a rugged bedliner for easy cleanup from muddy hikes.
The Jeep Vacationeer will be on display at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, through March 31, 2024. If you don’t get a chance to see it in person, the video footage below provides the best look at this unique SUV. Now, can we get a shorter wheelbase Wagoneer with all of these goodies installed?
