2014 Hyundai Veloster RM “Midship” Concept

Hyundai took the wraps off the Veloster RM Concept at the 2014 Busan International Motor Show in Korea. Dubbed the “Midship,” Hyundai has tucked a turbocharged 2.0-liter, 296hp engine in the middle and the result looks incredible. The two-seater rocket is built on an alloy suspension by the same team that crafted the i20 World Rally Championship racer.

The Veloster RM Concept has a large singleframe grille, oversized airscoops along the sides to feed the engine, a carbon fiber diffuser and a big rear spoiler that’s also done in carbon fiber. Hyundai hasn’t provided any additional performance numbers, but we’re sure they’ll be very impressive when we see them.
