Audi’s Unique “Countdown Cube” Test Drive Program

Audi is trying a one-of-a-kind marketing technique to introduce their latest A8 sedan to their most valued customers. What they’ve been doing in some European countries is delivering a mysterious black cube to those potential buyers that, when activated by¬†pushing a “Start/Stop” button, begins a countdown to delivery of a new A8 for a 24-hour test drive. The cube uses GPS tracking to let the customer know how long it will take for the car to arrive at their doorstep, beginning at 90 minutes – which is the target time for the car to be delivered.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to check the front door to see if there are any small, cube-shaped boxes waiting for pickup.
