2022 Audi RS 3 Gets a Horsepower and Speed Bump

Audi has revealed the 2022 RS 3, the entry-level car in the RS performances lineup. It packs Audi’s famed 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 401 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque.

That’s enough power to push the RS 3 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. Audi also offers an available 180 mph top speed for racetrack performance. The car also features the RS Torque Splitter, DCC, transmission, and brakes. The torque splitter provides driving modes including comfort, auto, dynamic, RS Torque Rear, and RS performance. The 2022 model has larger front brakes providing 20 percent better cooling than its predecessors.

The car is available in eight colors, including a pair of exclusive Audi Sport colors, including Kyalami Green (pictured here) and Kemora Gray. Options include an available Carbon package bringing carbon fiber mirror housings, mirror caps, and side sill inlays. The available Black optic plus package brings 10-spoke wheels in matte black, black badges, and a brilliant black roof. Fans will be able to purchase the RS 3 this summer. The sports sedan is priced at $58,900 plus the $1095 destination charge.
