Classic Mini Racing POV

Some entertaining in-car footage shot from the passenger side of driver John Cardoo’s 1974 Austin Mini as it zipped around the track in Ireland’s HRCA Championship back in 2011. Despite having some traction issues with the differential, it’s still great fun to experience a race from the inside of such a stripped-down little car. It gets especially exciting at the 7:26 mark when things get really dicey with the car that loses control in front of him.

And if you happen to live in Ireland, you could be in luck. It appears that Cardoo is now selling his little green racing Mini.
