A Maserati MC12 GT1 Sounds off

The Maserati MC12 GT1 is a serious race car, intended for FIA GT1 class races. It’s powered by the same massive 6-liter Dino V12 engine found in the Ferrari Enzo, and its chassis is based on the Enzo as well.

While you might not ever have the chance to see or hear one of these impressive cars in person, you can at least blow out your speakers at home thanks to this video. The guys at Germany’s AutoEmotionen TV were fortunate enough to drop by a garage where they were prepping an MC12 GT1 for Goodwood, and stuck their camera right in front of the car’s exhaust pipes. The were then treated to a show of the car starting up and revving its beastly engine.

Trust us when we say the sound will give your headphones or speakers – and eardrums – a workout. Once it gets going, the sound will seriously rattle your brain – and we love it.
