The Nürburgring Nordschleife is a legendary track that car manufacturers around the world use to test the mettle of their vehicles, and that even average drivers can get on if they’re willing to pay the entry fee. You can also drive the course, nicknamed the “Green Hell” from the comfort of your own living room in the Xbox One game Forza Motorsport 5. All 154 corners of the 13 mile track have been recreated in game for your driving pleasure along with the 3.2-mile Grand Prix track. Best of all, the track is available free of charge, starting today.

Before you hit the new track, you might want to review RSR Nurburg’s turn-by-turn guide to driving the course. And, if you find that the German track is simply too far afield for your tastes, you can try one of America’s great courses, Road America, which was also recently made available in game.

We suggest you hop into a McLaren P1 or maybe the Ferrari LaFerrari and see if you can complete faster than the P1’s unofficial time of under seven minutes.
