Jaguar F-Type Coupe R Nürburgring POV Lap

With 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft. of torque, there’s no question the Jaguar F-Type Coupe R is a real beast. While it’s not always the most compliant car in the corners, it’s still tremendously fun and can powerslide with the best of them. In this clip from PistonHeads, we get to go on a ride through Nürburgring’s challenging Nordschleife circuit in the shiny new Jag.

With a lap time of about 9 minutes, the driver clearly wasn’t going for any sort of record, but he still pushes it at times, zipping past a few 911s and a even a GT-R along the way. We especially love how open the car feels with its glass roof, bringing a ton of light into the cabin without impacting body rigidity.

At about the 2:52 mark you’ll see what we mean about how it can get away from you in the corners, but the driver does a great job recovering from what could have turned into a full spinout.
