2015 Audi Sport TT Cup Racer

Audi is bringing a new one-make racing series to the world of motorsports in 2015 with the inaugural year of Audi Sport TT Cup, part of the DTM championship. And the German automaker has just unveiled the cars that will compete in the series. The racing edition of the Audi TT coupe, these cars have 2.0-liter engines producing 310 horsepower, along with a “push to pass” button that briefly boosts the hp by another 30. The racers weight in at just 2,480 pounds, but Audi hasn’t revealed any performance data on the vehicles to this point.

Audi will be provding 24 cars for each Audi Sport TT Cup event, with 18 going to drivers that will be chosen via a multi-stage selection process and the remaining six cars reserved for guest drivers.
