Get up Close and Personal with the Ford Raptor’s Suspension

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a truly impressive off-road truck. One of the most critical components to its capabilities are its Fox Racing dampers. These shocks offer up an astounding 13″ of travel up front, and 13.9″ in the rear, and feature a clever internal-bypass design which works equally as well on or off-road.

Just look at that wheel travel as it flies across a lumpy, bumpy off-road trail! It’s amazing to see how much punishment the suspension must endure, while the body remains remarkably stable and rigid above.
