Hennessey to Build 50 VelociRaptor 6×6 Trucks

Hennessey Performance has announced that it will actually go ahead and build its awesome VelociRaptor 6×6 truck in limited quantities. Just 50 of the trucks will be built, and they’ll be available to buyers around the globe.

Other than getting an extra axle and six wheels total, the trucks also get a hopped-up engine. Hennessey massages Ford’s V6 EcoBoost engine with new turbos and other tidbits to push the power to 605 hp and 622 pound-feet of torque. Hennessey says that the engine can launch the truck from a standstill to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds – an impressive feat for something this big and heavy. The VelociRaptor 6×6 also gets upgraded Fox shocks, LED lighting, a roll bar, Hennessey front and rear bumpers, 20-inch wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country tires, and more.

Pricing for the truck starts at $349,000, and the options list includes a $22,000 6-piston Brembo brake package. With such a monster truck, those brakes will surely help stop the beast.
