Watch a Woodworker Make a Detailed Toyota Land Cruiser Model

While it might be due for a round of modernization, the Toyota Land Cruiser is one of those vehicles that has stood the test of time when it comes to durability. But until we get a new Land Cruiser (hopefully in the next couple of years), we’re happy to enjoy what we’ve got.

In this video from Vietnam-based Woodworking Art, an unnamed craftsperson shows off their skills by sculpting a wooden model of a 2020 Land Cruiser. It’s got lots of great details, especially the carved textures of the grille, and even has wheels and tires that roll.

The finished model is really impressive, though I’m not a fan of the shiny material that they applied to the windshield and lights – they look a little wonky, and seem unnecessary. I think it would have been even better if they just everything as bare wood.

If you enjoyed this video, be sure to poke around Woodworking Art’s YouTube channel, where you can check out more vehicle builds, including a classic 1959 Cadillac, a Lexus LX 570, and a Bugatti Chiron. And if you’re interested in having a car custom sculpted for you, you can reach the artist via email.
