Orange You Glad There’s a 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor?

If you want the most off-road capable Ford truck, you go for a Raptor. But if you want a Ford truck with more modest off-road ambitions and rugged looks, their Tremor off-road package is a great choice. After offering Tremor packages for the Ranger, F-150, and Super Duty, Ford will offer a Maverick Tremor option for the 2023 model year.

Sold as a $2995 add-on for XLT and Lariat series Mavericks, the Tremor off-road package lifts the stock Maverick by 1″ for added ground clearance, off-road front and rear suspension, and more. Tremor trucks also come with advanced all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive lock. Like other AWD Mavericks, it’s powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that makes 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft. of torque. That’s connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Maverick Tremor also comes with Trail Control, which is basically an off-road cruise control system that automatically manages throttle and braking on challenging trails while the driver focuses on steering. Other upgrades include a heavy-duty transmission cooler, a trailer hitch receiver, upgraded half-shafts, and steel skid plates.

Aesthetic changes include orange accents on a unique grille, front tow hooks, and blacked-out Ford logos. 17″ aluminum wheels have a cool splash of orange and come wrapped in all-terrain tires. Inside, you’ll find Tremor logos on the Black Onyx seatbacks, along with orange stitching. The $1495 Tremor Appearance package adds a Carbonized gray painted roof, mirror caps, and black side graphics.
