During the 2022 SEMA show, master customizers the Ringbrothers turned up with one of the best Chevy K5 Blazer restomods ever. Based on a 1972 K5 Blazer, the Bully now packs a 6.8-liter GM LS3 engine from Wegner Motorsports, along with a massive 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger. That combo produces an insane 1160 horsepower.
The customized Blazer also has a rugged Bowler automatic transmission and a Flowmaster 44 stainless steel exhaust system with custom headers. It rides on a customized chassis with a heavy-duty off-road suspension by Roadster Shop, Dana axles, and rolls on 18″ x 12″ HRE wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires.
The interior of the soft-top SUV looks incredible, too, with beautifully woven caramel leather seats and that same color scheme wrapping onto the walls, dashboard, and tailgate. In the back, there’s a Warn winch and a cherry red Jerry can for refueling emergencies.
I know this thing is 50 years old, but damn, it’s more desirable than just about any SUV on the road today.
