When it comes to Class 1 Baja race cars, they’re usually covered with so much mud, dirt, and bugs, that you really don’t pay attention to their color scheme or body styling. But in the case of this beauty from Jimco Racing, we have an off-roader that’s as beautiful clean as it is dirty.

Ford has made no bones about telling us there’s a new Bronco on the way, and has been dropping hints about its boxy looks for a couple of years now. It’s going to be Spring 2020 before we get our first real look at the production version of the 4×4, but Ford Performance is giving us what might be the best idea of what the truck will look like with its Bronco R Baja truck.

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) is best known for making expensive sports cars, but the company is working on a new off-road capable performance vehicle called the “Baja Boot.” It’s designed to survive the punishing terrain of Baja and Dakar racing, but can also be driven by anyone on the streets.

Toyota will be headed to the 2014 SEMA show with a new desert racer: the 2015 Tundra TRD Pro Desert Race Truck. And the truck won’t have to take on the heat and dust of the deserts by itself, it will be joined by Baja 1000 Chase Trucks.
