Mini Cooper

Mini has announced a new special edition Cooper S Hardtop called the Brick Lane Edition. The unique Mini was inspired by the area of London called the Heart of the East End, known for its street art.

The MINI Cooper is a fun little car for getting around the city. It handles like a go kart, and fits just about anywhere. But if you’re mostly sticking to urban areas and short commutes, it only makes sense to consider an electric vehicle.

MINI has rolled out a new special edition of its little car called the MINI Seven that is offered in both 2-door and 4-door hardtop versions. The special car pays tribute to the classic Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor which first broke cover back in 1959.

It’s no doubt rare that an automotive journalist compares a Mini Cooper’s driving dynamics favorably to the lofty likes of Ferrari, McLaren and Bentley, but that’s exactly what XCAR’s Alex Roy does with the turbocharged 2016 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works.

Okay, so this movie looks like it will be kinda fun, but really, really dorky. Pixels features Adam Sandler, and that’s rarely a good thing. The idea of an totally alien species totally misinterpreting our time capsule and attacking us with video games is particularly amusing though, especially when it involves an enormous Pac-Man assaulting NYC.

I’ve written about how many living, conscious contortionists can get into a Mini Cooper (17, if I recall correctly), before, but it’s always interesting to see what a person can fit into a tiny car. While a large group of contortionists is the British thing to try to cram in there, for whatever reason, the Floridian take on it is a bit more unusual: four unconscious dudes and a four dead deer.
