BMW has announced that it is the “Official Car of MotoGP,” and as such the German automaker will be providing some awesome vehicles for the MotoGP racing season. Pretty much all the officials at the race get to drive sweet BMW M vehicles.

BMW has unveiled a really sexy MotoGP safety car, based on the M2. This is the car that pulls out to keep riders in check as the track is cleaned up after a crash or other issue.

Internal combustion engines are based entirely on harnessing the power of flame propagation. Flames generally don’t get along terribly well with water. This leads the average person to believe that spraying a mist of water directly into your cylinders right at the moment of combustion might not be a good idea.
