Racing with Endaf Owens in His Mark 1 MINI

Endaf Owens is a driver who’s been involved in MINI Miglia racing for many years. In fact, he was the MINI Miglia champion for the 2011 season. And, boy howdy does Owens know how to drive the little car. In this video from 2013, Owens takes us on a wild ride in his Mark 1 MINI Cooper at the 2013 Silverstone Classic Masters.

We suggest you skip ahead to about the 6:30 mark if you don’t want to get seasick while Owens warms up his tires. That’s when the race really begins and Owens starts passing cars in bunches and trying to move ahead of all the Ford Mustangs. It’s great fun watching him play with the Mustangs, passing them on the corners while they catch up again on the straights.

Get ready for some hair-raising moments as Owens maneuvers in and around a crowded field of competitors, nearly scraping paint as they make their way around the famed Silverstone circuit.
