The RSRNurburg racing team traveled to South Africa to compete in the 2014 Knysna Jaguar Simola Hillclimb. Driving a Lotus 7, South African native and RSR instructor Antony Ashley shares his first hillclimb racing experience. With the event sponsored by Jaguar, there are a lot of beautiful, classic E-Types competing along with the new Jaguar F-Type which is just being introduced to South Africa. Of course, we also see some other amazing cars competing, from Nissan Skylines and Lamborghini Aventadors to classic Porsches and Ford Mustangs.

Ashley turned in a time of 51.624 on the 1.9-kilometer event, giving him a third place finish in his class. But even with a third place finish, it looks like the event was an incredible chance to drive a great car against world-class drivers and some stunning classics.
