Chevrolet has announced some new concept cars that will be on display at SEMA next month. Among the rides will be the little Spark RS concept that you see here. This is the latest car that Chevy has done the RS thing with.
Other models that received the RS treatment include the Camaro, Sonic, and Cruze, all of which are production models. I’d bet the Sonic RS will eventually enter production as well.
Coated in Dark Liquid Switchblade Silver paint, the subcompact gets a carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker extensions, and a carbon-fiber rear-lower extension. It’s fitted with 17-inch wheels that are inspired by the Corvette Z07 and lowered suspension. Chevy says that the concept will be used to gauge reaction for possible production.
