When you are essentially hand stitching the leather interior of a luxury car like the Aston Martin Vanquish, you can bet that a number of scraps pieces of leather are tossed out. I’d assume that many of those scrap pieces are simply thrown away.

Aston Martin has offered up a new video of some of its workers taking those scraps of leather and trimming them up to create a gigantic mosaic that looks like a Vanquish. The end result is quite impressive, and the video leads us to believe that the artists simply eyeballed the layout. I see no lines showing them where to place the scraps of  leather.

I rather like the idea of picture of a Vanquish being made from the scraps of an actual Vanquish.
