It hasn’t been all that long since Nissan revamped its TITAN pickup truck. The second-generation, full-size pickup debuted for the 2016 model year. But with tough competition from the likes of Ram and GMC, Nissan decided to go back to the drawing board and up their game for the 2020 model year.

Nissan has announced that it has a new truck aimed at working folks that will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. The truck started life as a Titan XD Midnight Edition and is now customized into what Nissan says is the ultimate work truck.

Outdoor enthusiasts that need something that will haul more than your average Jeep will want to check out this custom Nissan Titan truck. It’s called Base Camp and was built for the Overland Expo 2017 WEST show.

Nissan has unveiled a new cab option for buyers of its TITAN and TITAN XD trucks. The new configuration is the King Cab that adds smaller rear hinged doors behind the main doors and allows passengers to gain access to a small rear seat.

For those not needing to transport extra passengers, Nissan may have just the work trucks that buyers have been looking for. Pricing for the Titan and Titan XD single cab trucks has been announced and a Titan S with gas V8 starts at under $30,000(USD).

Prior to this model year, Nissan wasn’t a brand most truck buyers even had on their radar screen here in the U.S. So it only makes sense that in order to re-engage in this ultra-competitive segment, that Nissan had to do something bold.

We already know quite a bit about the upscale Nissan Titan XD truck and it’s heavier than standard duty nature. Nissan is now giving up some details on its slick new half-ton Titan that shares the same style as the Titan XD.

Much of the talk about the 2016 Nissan TITAN has been about its Cummins turbo-diesel engine. That Cummins will find its way under the hood of a bunch of trucks, but the most popular engine option will still probably be the gas V8.
