Chevy has announced a new package that truck buyers can choose for their new Silverado trucks called the High Desert package. This package adds features that remind me very much of the rather homely Avalanche truck/SUV.

While Chevrolet has yet to reveal all of the details for the next generation of its popular pickup truck, they have shared some initial details on what we can expect when the 2016 Silverado drops later this year.

Back in the day, if you needed a cheap vehicle, you bought a pickup truck. In fact, many people bought them not because they needed a truck, but because trucks were some of the cheapest vehicles around.

Just when you thought pickup trucks weren’t cool, in comes the 2015 Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition, tantamount to a cowboy who also happens to work as an undertaker. Chevy takes a Silverado 1500 with the Z71 package and blesses it with Vader-esque goodness.

Chevrolet rolled into the SEMA 2014 show with three new pickup concepts to share, two based on the Colorado midsize pickup and one on the full-size Silverado. Colorado Performance Concept The Colorado Performance concept is designed to demonstrate the capability of the midsize pickup to be used to enhance an active lifestyle.
