A couple of months back, I had the opportunity to view an unbadged, pre-production sample of Toyota’s latest sedan. However, I was under a strict embargo not to discuss it with anyone. Now, the cat is officially out of the bag, and the new Toyota Crown has broken cover.

Hyundai recently released its Ionic 5 electric crossover, and now the Korean automaker has its sights set on the electric sedan market. Taking aim at the Tesla Model 3, the Ioniq 6 is the most aerodynamic car that Hyundai has made to date.

When it comes to luxury cars, most people mention brands like Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and BMW. Hyundai spin-off Genesis hopes to gain the same kind of brand cache in the minds of luxury buyers, and with excellent vehicles like the G70 and G80 to their name, I think they’ve got a good shot at just that.

The Audi RS 7 is one of those cars you buy when you’re an executive bigwig, but still want something that performs like a sports car. Fresh from Germany, the 2021 model of the RS 7 is headed to US shores, packing a twin-turbo V8, along with a 48-volt hybrid system to produce a total of 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft.

In the past few years, Lexus has been going through quite a renaissance. They’ve shaken their stodgy, conservative reputation for one that is bolder and more aggressive. Just as Lexus received criticism in the past for being too bland or too vanilla, now they receive some criticism for being too stylized and too edgy.

When I first drove the current generation of the Audi A4 2.0T Quattro a couple years back, I was left impressed by its precise driving characteristics and polished interior and tech. Almost perfectly packaged and visually alluring in a variety of subtle ways, this unassuming junior executive commuter car is a prime example of what understated entry-level German luxury looks like.

The Infiniti Q50 sedan is a decent automobile, albeit a bit staid and conservative. But the Q50 Eau Rouge edition is something else entirely; the special edition of the Q50 sports sedan not only gets performance improvements it’s draped in a brilliant red paint finish that must be seen in person to truly appreciate.

Back in 2011, Hyundai took their first giant leap to take the Sonata from a middle-of the-road mid-size sedan to a real contender for the best in its class. In my opinion, with the 2015 Sonata, they’ve jumped into the top echelon, along with the Chrysler 200, Kia Optima and Ford Fusion, leaving competitors like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Chevy Malibu in the dust.

What do Chrysler and fashion designer John Varvatos both have in common? Well, for starters they were both born in Detroit, Michigan. And now the unlikely partners have teamed up to create an even more luxurious build of the popular Chrysler 300C sedan.

Combining the size and styling of Mercedes’ best sedans with the heart of a crazed cheetah, the E63 AMG S-Model is a true connoisseur’s vehicle. To get you moving down the road, the car is powered by a massive 5.5-liter bi-turbo V-8, which cranks out 577 horsepower, and a mind-shattering 590 lb-ft of torque.
