The Maybach was perhaps the most extravagant car line ever produced by Daimler, competing head on with the likes of Rolls Royce and Bentley for the top end of the luxury market. While the Maybach name dates back to 1909, its most often associated with the Maybach 57 and 62, two luxurious sedans built between 1997 and 2010.

With the LA Auto Show a couple of weeks away, Mercedes-Benz has let the cat out of the bag on a concept car dubbed the “G-Code.” While it’s not designed to be indicative of any specific upcoming models, the Mercedes-Benz G-Code is a showcase of potential technology and design elements for future vehicles.

Aftermarket interior modders Carlex Design have created another spectacular upgrade, this time further beautifying a Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe. The car has been outfitted in a color scheme which pays tribute to the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team.

I’m not sure how many Mercedes-Benz AMG customers are going with the steel wheel option, or new BMW M4 buyers will be looking for a black plastic front fascia, but X-Tomi Design out of Hungary took a look at what some of these sports cars and supercars might look like if they were built out without their fancy wheels, sports tires, spoilers, or other bells and whistles.

This restored 1966 Mercedes-Benz school bus has been converted into a spacious motor home and is available for rent for your travels through Argentina and around South America. Dubbed La Chanchita, this bus comes with everything needed for up to five people to travel and sleep comfortably, including sleeping accommodations, water, electricity, a toilet, a shower and a wood stove.

Mercedes-Benz is recognizing the 35th anniversary of it’s first G-Class Geländewagen, a vehicle that was first introduced as a rugged military-only vehicle and then revamped into a civilian version in 1979. The commemorative model is dubbed the “Edition 35” and is being offered only in Europe.

The gull-wing Mercedes-Benz 300SL is an incredible car which is extremely sought after by collectors. This beautiful model is from the folks at HG Motorsports and was captured on display at 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

AMG works their magic on Mercedes-Benz’ moderately-priced C-class sedan, with both a major performance upgrade and stylistic changes. The AMG C63 will come in two variants – a 469 horsepower model which can hit 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.0 seconds, and a 503hp model which does the same in 3.9 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler recently showed off its prototype for a cargo truck that can drive itself. The so-called “Future Truck 2025” is capable of handling driving tasks at speeds up to 50mph. The truck is designed to offer an airplane-like autopilot feature, freeing drivers to deal with other work tasks, and to reduce the fatigue associated with long-haul trucking.

If you love the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT as much as we do you’ll want to take it out for a drive at high speed. But few of us have access to the 456 horsepower coupe and even fewer have the chance to take one onto the track.

The latest Mercedes-AMG sports car looks pretty amazing, with a svelte front-end reminiscent of the outgoing SLS AMG. Though when viewed from the rear, it bears more than a passing resemblance to a Porsche. Its slinky profile, long hood, and set-back passenger compartment definitely give it a sense of movement even when not in motion.

This awesome vehicle has a crazy amount of technology at the ready, from the cabin of the tractor back to the luxurious, tech-laden accommodations of the trailer.

This gorgeous specimen is a one-of-a-kind 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K streamliner. Initially designed as an endurance racer, the highly aerodynamic car was dismantled shortly after World War II. Despite having been stripped down to just its original chassis and rear axle, Mercedes-Benz took it upon themselves to reconstruct the vehicle based on original plans and using period accurate materials.
