Nissan 370Zki Is Built for the Slopes

Nissan 370Zki Is Built for the Slopes
Nissan is showing off a highly-customized 370Z Roadster that will be on display at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show. The car is called the 370Zki, which is apparently pronounced “370-Ski,” despite its spelling. The drop-top Z car started life as a normal 370Z before having its wheels removed and some cold-weather sporting goods added on.

Electric Ferrari 308 GTS for Sale: Green, Wrapped in Ferrari Red
One glimpse at this Ferrari 308 GTS and the Magnum P.I. theme song will be stuck in your head. However, this particular specimen has given up its Italian V8 engine at some point along the way.

Ferrari 458 Italia? Nope, Toyota Celica Italia

Ferrari 458 Italia? Nope, Toyota Celica Italia
Of all of the cars I’ve ever driven – and I’ve driven quite a few – my favorite is still the Ferrari 458 Italia. It just offered the right combination of power, oversteer, and drop dead looks that are everything you want in an Italian sportscar.

This Double-Wide Jeep Wrangler Doesn’t Fit in a Lane

This Double-Wide Jeep Wrangler Doesn’t Fit in a Lane
I’ve seen plenty of wide-body and wide-track suspension kits, designed to give cars greater stability and room for wider tires, but these guys took vehicle widening to a whole new level. This crazy custom Jeep Wrangler turned up a few years ago in Morocco, and it’s completely insane.

This 1988 Chevy Sprint is $35,000… For a Good Reason

This 1988 Chevy Sprint is $35,000… For a Good Reason
Seeing that the average book value on a 1988 Chevrolet Sprint is about $1,495, the idea of paying more than 23 times that amount seems outlandish – especially for a car with over 72,000 miles on the odometer.

Racing a VW Van on Its Side

Racing a VW Van on Its Side
I keep meaning to attend the 24 Hours of Lemons. This real-life Wacky Races features a whole bunch of modded beaters that all started life as mass-produced, street-legal production cars. This year’s most notable entry had to be the Trippy Tippy Hippy Van, a crazy customized Volkswagen van put together by Lemons legend Jeff Bloch, aka “Speedycop” and his gang of outlaws.

Jeep Renegade Turned into a Mini Comanche Pickup Truck

Jeep Renegade Turned into a Mini Comanche Pickup Truck
I’m a big fan of the current Jeep Renegade. It’s a spunky little SUV with distinctively Jeep looks, and it’s surprisingly capable off-road – especially in Trailhawk form. But one thing the Renegade is not is a Comanche – at least not until now.

This Hellcat Jeep Grand Cherokee Lives Life 1/4 Mile at a Time

This Hellcat Jeep Grand Cherokee Lives Life 1/4 Mile at a Time
We know that Jeep is already releasing its own Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee, the Trackhawk. But the guys at True Street Performance couldn’t be bothered to wait for the official SUV, and decided to build their own, transforming a stock Grand Cherokee and into something awesome that can decimate the quarter mile.

Electric Lotus Packs Tesla Drivetrain and Chevy Volt Batteries

Electric Lotus Packs Tesla Drivetrain and Chevy Volt Batteries
The first car that Tesla made was the Roadster, which started life as a Lotus model. That car is no longer available, so the folks from Speed Academy decided to make one for themselves. Though this one is a wee bit more powerful than the original.

Hum Rider Skips Over Traffic

Hum Rider Skips Over Traffic
Where I live in Colorado, people tend to slow down on the highway for no reason at all. Traffic gets backed up for miles and when you finally get to the front of the traffic line, there is no crash, slow down, or merge that should have been causing the jam.

Ford F-150 Convertible: Droptop Pickup

Ford F-150 Convertible: Droptop Pickup
In general, I don’t think cars should be made into convertibles unless they were engineered that way from day one. Typically, chopping the roof off of a production vehicle causes all sorts of stability and body roll issues, regardless of how much you want the wind blowing through your hair.

Oh What Fun It Is to Ride a Ferrari-Toyota 86 Sleigh
Remember back in November, when we heard that Ferrari-powered Toyota 86 fire up? The car sounded like an absolute beast. With Christmas already behind us, it’s a couple of days late, but Santa got to ride in the GT4586 and he is one lucky fat guy, with Ryan Tuerck behind the wheel.

BMW 1M Gets the V10 Heart of an M5

BMW 1M Gets the V10 Heart of an M5
The BMW 1M Coupé is a very cool car, even if it looks a bit odd to my eyes. It’s sort of like a slightly smaller M3 with awkward proportions to my eyes. I don’t care at all what the car looks like when you tell me it’s been transplanted with the V10 engine from an M5.

’80s Caddy Gets Cummins Diesel Power

’80s Caddy Gets Cummins Diesel Power
The ’80s were a rough time for car lovers. Nothing really cool was available anywhere in the American auto scene until pretty late in the decade. I am a particularly big fan of the Fox body Mustangs from 1987 on.
