Porsche has debuted a brief clip introducing the new 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S, named after the classic 718 mid-engine racer that won its class several times at Le Mans and took first overall at the European Hill Climb Championship in 1958 and 1959.

Porsche has always called its sports cars by a numerical name. We all know the 911, but back in the day there were the 914, 928, 944, and many others. Porsche has now revealed that it will be bringing back the 718 name for versions of the Boxster and Cayman.

I like the Porsche 911; it’s a good platform for a bunch of tasks from spirited driving in the hills, to a day spent at the track. It’s probably not the platform that people would choose for shooting clays.

Porsche has gone official with the new 2017 911 Turbo and Turbo S sports cars. Both versions of the new Turbo will be offered in coupe or cabriolet versions and both pack 20 hp more than the outgoing models.

Late last month, Porsche pulled the wraps off the new Macan GTS. To go along with the new Macan model, Porsche has also announced that it will be bringing new features to the rest of the Macan line as well.

Porsche has added another vehicle to its sporty GTS line and this time it’s a Macan. The little Porsche SUV looks very good with a revised exterior, matte black Spyder Design wheels, and a cool leather and Alcantara interior.

Of all the Porsche 911 variants one of the highest performance models is the 911 GT3. That car is known for being a perfect weapon for track days, and has a naturally-aspirated engine that makes big power.

The latest car to roll through Jay Leno’s Garage is this restored 1964 Porsche 356C. A glance at the outside of the car and it looks like a rather well sorted stock Porsche to most eyes.

I had a track day this past weekend, and I was pumped to drive an old NA Miata at the track. I can’t imagine how excited I would be if I was going to get to drive the trifecta of hypercars that is the McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 Spyder.
